Every now and then we buy something which is just a little bit special. This is one of those items. Everything about this old school cupboard is great. Like most antique school and utility furniture it is beautifully constructed with dovetail joints throughout. The carved bevel doors and the planked top along with the partitioned shelf interior and then there's the amazing layers of years old paint with blues and greens one on top of the other which make it a true one-off piece. The dimensions are spot on - small enough to fit into most homes and rooms but plenty large enough to store lots of clothes, shoes or plates and kitchen items.
