A wonderful 19th century or earlier, antique bench originating from Eastern Europe, probably Hungary or Transylvania. Still in its original cream and mustard yellow paint, with a pierced carved gallery back and arm rests and a deep chest seat, with fully lift up lid, revealing storage within. Lots of age and character with wear that is commensurate with an antique bench of this age, but still sturdy and strong.
