A beautifully aged antique metal studded steamer trunk with original striped painted finish and contrasting  brass details to the corners as well as the original ornate clasp (no key). This lovely old trunk features old travel labels from its many journeys. The interior is in its original powder blue finish and is in very good condition. This piece has wonderful authentic wear throughout - scuffs, patina, and marks that reflect its history and add to its character.
 
It makes a fantastic statement piece for storage or décor and works equally well as a blanket chest, coffee table, toy box, or accent piece in a vintage, industrial, or eclectic interior.
