These beautiful pieces of industrial design are lovely examples and date from the early part of the 1900s. The all pine carcasses are on old castors and would have been used to move the shoes around the factory from process to process. Most have 4 shelves but there is also a 5 shelf trolley available (as shown), which is slightly larger. Each trolley is different and are painted with a number and yellow strut for factory identification purposes - but all have the most fantastic patina and make charming & functional pieces of furniture for home or retail use.
