A superb, early 20th century long table, which came from a local school and was made by The North of England School Furnishing Company Ltd. Measuring 7ft in length, it has a thick planked top with 4 drawers underneath. Standing on squared legs which are splayed slightly at the bottom to provide extra stability. It's a beautifully made piece of furniture with mortise and tenon joints at the base and dovetailed made drawers.
 
Although this is a school table it was made for use by the teachers and staff so easily sits adults.
