A large, round vintage enamel sign for John Bull Rubber Co. Ltd. which was a British bicycle tyre manufacturer based in Leicester, with a factory on the Evington Valley Road. Established in 1906 and originally named the Leicester Rubber Company. It was renamed John Bull Rubber in 1934 after its popular product of the same name and the company was eventually acquired by Dunlop in 1958.
 
The sign is in excellent condition with only minimal wear to the edges and relatively minor damage. Good strong colour and fantastic subject imagery and typography. Displays beautifully.
