A pair of vintage chrome framed, sled style base, brown leather armchairs, designed by Gordon Russell for Verco. These chairs, dating form the 1960s / 70s, combine elegant mid-century British design with a comfortable, substantial form and fine craftsmanship typical of Russell’s work. Both chairs show visible signs of wear to the leather (no rips or tears), which is consistent with years of use, but are in good overall condition with the chrome frame being in lovely order - and these chairs look beautiful in situ.
